I'm wildly out of control

Hello Reader,

Well, this got out of hand quickly.

A little while ago, I started learning about Human Design.

Then I started experimenting with it in my own life.

Then I thought, I should make a podcast about this.

And apparently that was a very big yes, because now I cannot stop making episodes.

I love researching them. I love figuring out how to explain something that initially sounds wildly complicated in a way that actually makes sense. I love coming up with stories and silly analogies. I love recording them. I even love editing them (weird, I know).

And the minute I publish one, I want to make the next one.

I haven't felt this kind of energy around my work in a very long time.

Which is kinda perfect, because that's exactly what Human Design has me paying attention to.

So, with all this new found excitement... I started a new podcast.

It's called Human Design Field Notes.

Part of the podcast will be a simple, practical audio library for learning Human Design. I'm starting with the fundamentals so you can understand the pieces of your chart without needing to learn an entirely new language first.

But the other part is the piece I'm most excited about.

I'm going to live it.

I'm building my next business (basically) from scratch and I'm deliberately using my own Human Design to help me make decisions about what I create, what I sell, how I work, how I market, and maybe most importantly, what I don't do.

I'm going to experiment.
I'm going to listen to my body not my mind (😬)
I'm going to question everything that I've spent the last 20 years believing about "how you build a business."
And I'm going to tell you what happens along the way.

Those will be my Field Notes episodes (first one comes out next week).

But there's already a whole first series waiting for you.

We start with the five Human Design Energy Types: Generators, Manifesting Generators, Manifestors, Projectors and Reflectors.

So if you don't know your type yet, grab your free chart on my website, find out what you are, and start with your episode.

Or do what I've done and immediately start looking up the Human Design of your partner, children, besties, mother-in-law and basically anyone who has ever confused you. 😂

Human Design Field Notes is officially out in the world. Woot Woot!

Come listen and let's see where this takes us.

Hello Reader,🫠 Yesterday I spent three hours making one Instagram post. Giving myself a little credit, it was an eight-page carousel. But still. THREE HOURS? For the love of God, what is wrong with me? In the last couple of weeks I've wrote, recorded, edited and published eleven podcast episodes. I sit down, grab the ballerina pink headphones, turn on the big mic, start talking, and somehow an episode comes out the other side. Editing? Ten minutes tops.Show notes? Roughly five minutes. Post...

Hey Reader, Six-figures. The sought-after revenue goal with two commas and five plump, confident-building zeros. I'm working on some material around changes you need to make to earn six figures (which will be showing up in your inbox soon), and it occurred to me that many of you may have already made six figures."Whaaat?"I know! That's why I had to send this sooner than later. When you hear "make six figures," my guess is that you think of making one hundred thousand in a one-year period, as...

Hi Reader, I witness this strange phenomenon every Tuesday. As part of our Luminaries coaching program, I critique sales emails written by women trying to sell their online programs. Their first drafts often come across as if they're knocking gently on someone's office door and asking in a soft voice, "Oh, hey, hi there. Sorry to bother you, but do you have a minute to listen to my idea? If not, I can come back later." The "office, "of course, is the inbox of their readers. Their whispery...
